It is so easy to forget time how simplicity really does change our experience of life though. I am grateful to have the pleasure of interviewing an expert in this area.

RM Allen is a Green Goddess from southern New Hampshire and the author of The New Hampshire Goddess Chronicles, vol. 1 Light Your Torch. She is an expert in living life simply and enjoying every moment of it. Listen to our interview to gain insight into the power and wonder of simplicity.

Thanksgiving is almost here and it certainly is a good reminder to stop and be thankful. Many of us spend our days full of complaints….. hardly ever just being thankful. I know I spend a large portion of my day doing, doing, doing and not enough time focusing on the things I appreciate in life and the things I am truly thankful for. This holiday season, I request that you take a few moments and begin to notice the things you have to appreciate.

To bring forth your thankfulness, I have a challenge for you— I am calling it the “Thankful Inventory Challenge.” I challenge you to begin to create a list of all the things you are thankful for. Build and build that list from now until Thanksgiving. On Thanksgiving day, when you are gathered with family and friends, share all or part of your list. Share it here with us too!!

Have fun!!

I’ll start the list off with a few things I am thankful for — these are in no particular order:

My life, my kids, my family, my friends, my husband, my clients, YOU, organic chocolate :) , books, computers, my mission, kindness, lessons learned, lessons to be learned, kind souls, family gatherings, people out to make a difference in the world, ……….
